Ah, FINALLY back on target this week, a kilo down from last week's unofficial weigh in. I feel so much better now. *Big Smiles*
I'm a very happy bunny because I am once again below 200lbs (90.7kg) I am only 2lbs off my next target at 196lbs (14st or 88.9kg). I'm sitting here with my 89.9kg smile on my face thinking "I'm only ONE kilo away from my next target." I'm not sure what it is yet but we'll just have to wait and see.
I've discovered a really neat trick for when I'm feeling really hungry on a fast day. Omelettes are great but there are 80/90 cals per egg (m/l) so I've started combining 1whole egg with 1 or 2 egg whites which are only 17 cals each. You get a much bulkier omellete, with whichever bits and bobs you like, and it doesn't blow your cals out of the budget.
If you add a bit of paprika to the mixture it looks the same colour as a whole egg omelette and is really tasty too. I've been having mine with shrooms, tomatoes and spinach. Yummy fast day meal that's only 157 cals, that includes the Frylight for the mushrooms too.
If you add a cucumber, lettuce and onion salad to it it is really filling and only adds another 34 cals (you can also get Frylite to make salad dressings too, I've not tried it yet but it's got to be better than olive oil calorie wise).
